Sites, Summaries and Reviews
In addition to providing the links and description for each site, we also are providing
a little information on how the creators of these sites came up with their ideas, in their own
words.
Senshi Battle Zone

Sailor Callisto
Basically this is Sailormoon "fight site", where two (or more) senshi face off against each other.
The fights, which are described by a team of announcers, are very zany and humorous, with
many twists you would never see coming. But that's not all! Visitors actually have a
say in who will win the next battle by using a voting booth. They even throw in fanfiction
created senshi into a separate section called, the Fanfic Senshi Tournament.

How did they come up with this idea?: |
In short, I wanted to do something really different that hadn't been done before. Something that wasn't too boring and
would be a lot of fun and keep people coming back to the site. And
the idea just kind of floated into my head one day, as strange
ideas often do. It was the exact kind of thing I wanted to do.
That was well over a year ago, and here we are.

The Chibi Project
Creator:
Brief Review:

The Lizzard and Patrick
Ever wonder how much punishment one of those little, plastic, Super-deformed Sailormoon figures
could take? Well the Chibi Project can show you how tough those little things really are!
This very funny site feels like a school science project gone completely mad!

How did they come up with this idea?: |
I, Scientist Lizzard, gave Professor Patrick a Chibi Moon
figurine as a
gag gift. While joking around, I threw the figurine on the
floor and
stomped on it with my hard-heeled boot. We were stunned to
see that
hardly any damage was done. This inspired Professor
Patrick to see just
how much damage the blasted thing could withstand. And
what good is the
torture of small toys if it's not viewed by thousands of
fans?
Professor Patrick developed the website to showcase the
results of his
experiments. Originally we had expected the site to earn a
lot of hate
mail. But it gathered support quickly, especially when
AniPike chose it
as a pick of the week. To this day, we've only received
one message
from an angry surfer. We think this is primarily because
we introduce
the material in a fairly non-agressive way. That, and
we're
professional about it. There are enough pages on the web
by goobers
without a spell checker. You know the type, "ChIBiMoOn
SuXX CauSe sHe'S
PiNk!!!!" We wanted to offer something a little more
original and
pithy.
Someday we'd like to take this to the next step by
encouraging people to
submit their own experimental results. This could become a
worldwide
fad, you know, torturing the Chibi. A bonding experience
for us all.

KatC's Sailormoon Goodies
Creator:
Brief Review:

KatC
This is one the largest collection of Sailormoon file downloads on the web!
Includes several downloadable games, windows desktop files, graphics, and scans.
It also has a growing fanart section and a large listing of places you can buy
Sailormoon merchandise on the web.
|
How did they come up with this idea?: |
I am a huge otaku. When I get into an anime, like
Sailormoon, I generally
collect anything and everything I can that has to do with
it. KatC's
Sailormoon Goodies was started so that I could offer some
of the rarer
things in my collection like the japanese-release SNES
games and Sailormoon
KiSS dolls.

Sailor Moon Says - Your Daily Alternative!
Creator:
Brief Review:
|
Daniel Ashbrook
This 'classic' Sailormoon site is the oldest of the pages featured here, and to tell you the
true it now appears to be inactive. However, we had to include it. Not only is it one of the
first SM Comedy/Parody sites, but it's also still one of the funniest.
Known for it's sometimes imitated, but never duplicated parodies of "Sailor Says", plus the
Lita Lettermoon's Top Ten Lists. A site that turns the whole series on it's head.
