Here's some sites that came close to being called to the "Worst"...

Page: The Secrit Chibichibi Realm of Kawainess

This page isn't particularly nice to look at; it does use a few too
many different colours for the text, but most of it is readable.
In the middle of the main page there is the following notice:
"A WARNING!!! DONT STEAL MY PICS! THEY ARE PICS THAT I COLECTED AND
IFYOU DO THAKE THEm, CREDIT ME! A BIG WARNNG TO EVERYONE! THERE WILL
BE CONSIQENCES IF I FIND OUT!!!"
Really? I wonder what those would be... Oh while we're on the
subject, I'll tell you the reason this site was nominated. It rips
off large chunks of another site with a very similar name.
(http://chibichibi.iwarp.com) Most of the here graphics are direct
linked, all the videos are direct linked, and the info? You guessed
it, with the exception of the first few paragraphs, all of it is
copied and pasted from the info sections of the other site. So yes,
there may be trouble for you if you steal from this person, because
you're actually stealing from someone else.
I could end my review there, but I have to mention the link banner
in the bottom left corner of this site. Notice the werid mess
around the URL on the banner. That's because the banner was also
stolen from the other site, and then altered, very poorly I might
add. Altering banners from other sites is just plain low. Maybe
not as low as direct-linking, but it's pretty low. A lot of people
depend on their banners to help make them stand out, and often a
lot of time is spent on them to ensure they are as original as
possible.

Oh, I hope this is a joke. Everything is stolen except for the big warning not to
steal "his" stuff. Like I said, this can't be serious. Someone who direct-links, for whatever
reason, even for a "joke", is still a THIEF.
Besides, I fail to see the humour in all these "as-bas-as-we-can" pages.
On the video page, that direct links everything, you are told: "and remember, DONT
DIRECTLY LINK! thatss bad. if u take thse videos, u gotta credt ME!". Hardy harr harr.
What spirit. What cunning wit. Who would have thought of using irony as a form of humour?
OY! I can feel my brain overloading.
Finally, if the constant claims that this site is the "best ever" doesn't
end up giving you a headache, the grammar and spelling will. I better
stop here before I start repeating myself.

Before I knew why this page was nominated, I was wary upon looking
at it. After all, a page with huge font of different colors, bad
spelling, and claims of page being the best page ever always puts
me in a bad mood about the page. That and a MIDI. I don't like
MIDIs that auto-start. Anyway, warnings about not stealing the
images also made me wary- 'cause like it or not, if a page looks
bad and childish but it has good images, I'm more likely to believe
the page stole them than made them. Then looking at the banner
at the bottom of the page, I asked Cere if that banner had been
stolen and smacked its on URL over it? Cere said "yup" so I kind of
guessed where this was going. Looking at the photo album, you
might notice the pictures don't work; so I opened up my source
code and lo and behold, direct links to another site. Well, with
that site, I was able to see that the info and the movies were
also ripped off of the original site. Though the info was ripped
off and plagiarised, it still mixed in the dub with made-up info,
which is odd but I guess it happens. So what we have here is
just a bad plagiariser and bandwidth thief.

Ack, shocking pink background! AAAH! The MIDI interrupted my music! Blasphemy! How dare
any site defame L'Arc~en~Ciel with the DIC Sailor Moon Theme Song?! *calms down from her hysteria fit*
Anyways, wow, take a look at the amazing amount of typos on this site. Now, if the person creating this page is like 8, then it's sort of excuseable, but then again--most word processor programs have spell check on them. But then again, we have the right to criticize when the claim: "HI! Welcom to the Realm of Kawainess this is the greatest chibchibi site EVER!" is made. Because, like many people, I feel the need to give people a blast of reality when they don't seem to realize the truth that they aren't the greatest and
their site surely is not as well. "A WARNING!!! DONT STEAL MY PICS! THEY ARE PICS THAT I COLECTED AND IFYOU DO THAKE THEm, CREDIT ME! A BIG WARNNG TO EVERYONE! THERE WILL BE CONSIQENCES IF I FIND OUT!!!"
Hmmm, pix you collected, eh? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to save files, and ask for credit. It just takes some time and a good clicking finger. Anyways, it doesn't matter anyway since 50% of the images are broken.
Cute, her spelling magically gets better when she tells Chibichibi's story -- wow and her vocabulary expands by 10-fold..oh wait, she didn't write that it was stolen...hrm, surprise, surprise. ^_^;
Well, I grow weary of this MIDI. *PallaPalla sticks her headphones back on and blasts L'Arc*

Hmmm doesn't look like there will be a loading song this time.
Well, it needs a bit of a break. Maybe I can come up with something
else...
hmmm...
[calls in the Vikings]
"Splash, Splash, Splash, Splash, SPLAAAAASH! WONDERFUL SPLAAAAASH!"
(Sung to the Monty Python's Spam Song)
Oh yes, a splash page! Another useless splash page. What is it with
these splash pages? Unless you offer different versions of the same
site or have important info like "you need ____ plugins to view this
site", there is no need of a splash page. It just wastes time.
[Clicks the picture]
It's getting worse- first the splash page, now a message box asking me
to vote for this page at some rating site. So I hit "cancel" and hope
to finally continue. If you're keeping score, that's two clicks, and
nothing worthwhile yet.
Finally the main index, and, and... would you believe I would rather go
back to the Splash Page? The main index is filled with lovely UpAnDdOwN
type, and I mean filled with it. It might be fine if it was used on
some links, or in a nickname, but all over the page? You can't read any
of this! So it may look cool, but if you can't read it, you shouldn't
have even bothered having any text at all.
Click number three on the Usagi link and we have... Hotaru? This is the
Usagi section right? It says so in the title bar, it has a pic of Usagi
on the left, but it has links to Hotaru's profile, and Hotaru's gallery.
The only thing "Usagi" related is the "uSaGi & MaMoRu'S GaLLeRY oF LoVe"
which leads to a broken link. (Clicks wasted: 4 - Useful Clicks: 0)
Seriously though. This site would be a lot nicer if the Splash page,
and the vote message were dumped, plus the weird typing and the Usagi
section fixed. Other than those things, the site is pretty easy to
get around. The galleries could also use some thumbnails, but there
are only a few pics in each gallery, so it's not really needed. This
site wouldn't have any navigation problems once those few things were
cleared up.
The info here is basically only the good old stats, with some fandub
names. The backgrounds all come from a SM free web images site.
Now I think I found a few links on the links page to those sites, but
they are tossed in with some others on some kind of rating service.
It would be nicer if the owner of this site gave them a little better
credit by having the links on a separate credits page or outside of
that vote. This way others would know where the nice backgrounds came
from and check some out for themselves.

"You are one click away from Sailor Moon Heaven", woohoo! Thanks for warning me, a bit more
and I would have entered the page without proper warning! Seriously, what is the point of
that splash page? Well, at least the voting thing Cere mentioned is gone.
Hmm, the page does look pretty, but it has "freebie background" written all over it.
Then there is ThE uP aNd DoWn WrItInG.
This stuff makes me dizzy. Up and Down and up and down and up and down
and... what is this, a roller coaster?
Ah there, see what you've done? I wanted to go to Usagi's page and ended up on
Hotaru's.
[Hits back button and clicks on Usagi's link]
Hmm. I guess this IS the Usagi page. Quite an original Usagi
section I must say: how many sites feature an Usagi
section with almost nothing related to Usagi at all?
Most of the subsections look big at first, but only have links to guestbook and that
kind of stuff... not much actual juice. The information is nothing to write home about:
stats and basics. The image galleries aren't exciting either, the images are fairly
common and fairly long to load...
It looks to me like the owner of this site has some good taste, but the
site needs more originality and content, and less pretty backgrounds.

The splash page was alright except for the two animated gifs. So
I clicked enter, then clicked Cancel to the voting thing, then
I viewed the lovely inner layout that doesn't properly load up
in Netscape because Netscape is smart enough to not load up BMPs.
(Why in God's name would you USE a BMP on your webpage anyway?
They're so darn big and take forever to load.) So I only see
Princess Lady Serenity, the background, then two BMPs that have
the "broken image" sign. The text itself is interesting- whee,
up and down, up and down, pretty darn hard to read.
So I clicked on Usagi's profile- okay, freebie backgrounds in use...
Hotaru's name and profile (with "Heather" as her NA name...)
Why exactly does each senshi/scout have a splash page anyway?
There's only two things pertaining to each of them- a profile and
a gallery. The rest of the splash page has the up and down sized
font and links to all the other sections of the page which are
pretty unnecessary.
The layouts of each page have graphics taken from freebie places and so
they're all pretty much different. I don't know which pages she took
all these graphics from, but they differ so much in design it's
unbelievable. Some pages have simple tables, other more complex ones,
some the LoveMouse Javascript code, while other pages have NOTHING on
them at all but links- just white background and normal text links.
What? Did the owner run out of designs she'd stolen and not credited?
Because she doesn't credit any of the places she took all her lovely
graphics from- perhaps in the links section, but as it didn't work for
me (freepoll was down), I'll have to trust CereCere that she sort of,
half-tried to credit them in some roundabout way.
The info is unremarkable in that they're usually some sort of mixtures
of the original anime, the DIC dub, and some made up stuff. At their
very basic, they're just stats; some of the senshi/scouts have a brief
summary about them, but that's about it. The image galleries (the
senshi/scouts', the general gallery, and the villain gallery) have
transparent gifs, normal gifs, and jpgs piled up onto pages at full
size with no thumbnails, but fortunately there aren't more than 10 per
page (but even that manages to take a while to load). Of course all
the images are stolen from other sites, but that's a given. There are
animated gifs which you have to link to her page in order to use them,
despite the fact that she didn't make them; the MIDIs she doesn't ask
you to link to her site, but she makes up some names and tells you so.
I didn't check anything else out. As far as I'm concerned, this page
is a waste of time.

Well, the site LOOKS nice at first... too bad it's written in eLiTe AzN/H4x0r talk.
Getting around this site is REALLY confusing, when you click on Usagi
(or is that uSaGi) you get whisked into a weird sort of menu that has Hotaru's profile
listed on it.
I think this site has the potential to be alot better. I haven't seen these
backgrounds alot, like the others have -- so for me it's
basically a site with some annoying K-RaD letters and not so much information.
It could have been much better and maybe in the future it will be much better.
